• Improve your boot times with ubuntu boot in Karmic

• update-alternatives –config editor
• change the fonts and change the hinting to medium in /etc/fonts
• install ttf-mscorefonts-installer and remove ttf-tahoma-replacement if exists
• add the console font
• install nice ubuntu karmic themes
